DocuBill ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how DocuBill handles your information.
Data Collection
DocuBill does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data you enter into the app — including invoices, client information, expenses, business profiles, and signatures — is stored locally on your device only.
What We Do Not Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No usage analytics or tracking data
- No location data
- No advertising identifiers
- No cookies or web tracking
- No data shared with third parties
On-Device Data
The following data is created and stored entirely on your device:
- Invoices: Invoice details, line items, statuses, and generated PDFs
- Clients: Client names, addresses, contact details
- Expenses: Expense records, categories, receipt images
- Business Profiles: Business names, logos, tax IDs, contact information
- Signatures: Digital signatures drawn in the app
- Settings: Your preferences for currency, tax rates, and templates
Camera & Photo Library
DocuBill may request access to your device camera and photo library for the following purposes:
- Scanning receipts for expense tracking
- Attaching photos to invoices
- Uploading a business logo
Images captured or selected are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external server.
Sharing
When you share an invoice PDF via email, AirDrop, or other share methods, the data leaves your device through the standard iOS sharing mechanism. DocuBill itself does not transmit this data — your chosen sharing method handles the delivery.
Third-Party Services
DocuBill does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect user data.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:
- Deleting individual records within the app
- Uninstalling the app, which removes all associated data
Children's Privacy
DocuBill is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
