Cally puts the meeting you're in — and the ones right behind it — on your Lock Screen as a Live Activity, and follows whichever Focus you have on.

Common questions
Nothing appears on my Lock Screen
Cally only shows an event that is running now, or one starting within your lead time (30 minutes by default, adjustable in Settings). If your afternoon is empty, the Lock Screen stays clear on purpose. Check that Live Activities are allowed in iOS Settings › Cally.
How do I connect Google Calendar?
Add the account in iOS Settings › Apps › Calendar › Accounts › Add Account › Google. Cally reads whatever calendars iOS already knows about — it has no sign-in of its own, and never talks to Google directly.
How do I make it follow my Focus?
Go to Settings › Focus › Work › Focus Filters › Add Filter › Cally, and pick a calendar set. iOS switches Cally over whenever that Focus turns on. Repeat for Personal. Choose which calendars belong to each set inside Cally's own Settings.
It didn't switch when my Focus ended
iOS tells apps which Focus turned on, but has no matching signal for "all Focus modes are now off". Cally falls back to your Default calendar set the next time you open it.
Does it work on iPad or Apple Watch?
Not yet. Live Activities on the Lock Screen are an iPhone feature, so Cally is iPhone-only for now.
Privacy in one line
Cally has no network code. Your calendar never leaves your iPhone. The full policy says the same thing at greater length.
